TERRIERS SIGN HADERGJONAJ

Huddersfield Town have signed Switzerland international right-back Florent Hadergjonaj from Ingolstadt on a season-long loan deal.

The Premier League club also have an option to buy the player, who will wear the No 33 shirt, in the summer.

IBRA EYES UNITED RETURN

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is targeting Man Utd's clash against Tottenham in October to make his comeback, according to the Sun.

The report suggests the former Sweden international is set to sign a new short-term contract at Old Trafford, with an announcement of the deal expected in the next few days.

The player injured his knee in April, but is hoping to still play for the Red Devils this season.

And if the deal goes through, Jose Mourinho could have the experienced forward available as early as Spurs' visit on Oct 28.

WEST HAM CLOSE IN ON £40M CARVALHO

Good news for West Ham fans as talks have re-started about signing Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho.

Everyone at Sporting was focused on their crucial Champions League qualifier in Bucharest last night.

Sporting won easily, but Carvalho did not play, another clear sign that the Portuguese are preparing for his departure.

West Ham need to structure the deal so they get close to Sporting's £40m asking price.

SAINTS SET TO SEAL JOHNSTONE DEAL

Colchester United striker Denny Johnstone's season-long deal with St Johnstone is expected to be confirmed today.

The 22-year-old joined the Saints players for training on Thursday morning and once formalities are completed he will go into the squad for the Premiership clash with Celtic at Parkhead on Saturday.

WENGER 'DOES NOT EXPECT' MUSTAFI BID

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says he does not expect any bids for defender Shkodran Mustafi before the transfer window closes on Aug 31.

Inter Milan are reportedly interested in signing the Germany international.

"No I do not expect (any offers for Mustafi)," he said in his press conference.

"It is difficult for me to speak about any individual cases because we are now in the final seven days of the transfer market and it is always very difficult to predict what will happen there.

"And you have to make quick and sharp decisions and you cannot plan that and come out in a press conference with how you will respond to any solicitation."
